A Passion

I have been passionate about table tennis since I was 10 years old, and one day an idea came to me thanks to this passion. The root of it was the fact that table tennis rackets are made of materials that are sensitive to variations in temperature and humidity, which can modify their performance and lifespan. Upon sharing my idea with sport enthusiasts around me, I quickly realized that other domains were also concerned by this problem. This is how I embarked on the adventure of creating my startup.

Why Covoon

The DNA of our brand is “taking care” to our gear and equipment that are dear to us in an emotional and affective sense, and which are especially exposed to potential damage when we move and/or travel. Thinking about this concept of providing protection and cover, one term came to my mind – the cocoon, this natural envelope that protects against any type of external attack. Blending cover with natural protection grew into COVer-cocOON.

After several years of in-depth research alongside experts in insulation materials, and in collaboration with professional Ping players, we are proud to present our first product. This is an innovative protective solutions for table tennis rackets, designed by a Ping player for Ping players. It is specially designed to resist temperature variations, humidity, and physical impacts, thus providing optimal protection.
